<< Back to Testimonials Page Hardwood Floor We arranged for the work to be done while we were out of town. We moved the furniture out of the kitchen and dining rooms except for the refrigerator. John came in with his crew and moved the refrigerator, completing the entire job in three days. This left 8 days for the floor to cure. This included contacting us about the floor vents with a recommendation for changing them from metal to oak. The results are wonderful. The sanding process produced a lot of dust. John sealed doorways, cupboards and vents with plastic and tape to protect those areas. He sent photos by text to us of his progress as it happened so we were totally in the loop. Description of Work: Refinished and repaired oak hardwood flooring. Including three coats of Swedish finish.

<< Back to Testimonials Page We have used this company twice – once as part of a huge home remodel a few years ago, and then recently for refinishing our beat-up hardwood floor. During the remodel, they were laying laminate flooring for us in a large area of the house and there was an issue with the subfloor not being flat, and these guys had to re-do a big chunk of the work after a solution was found to fix the original issue (by a different contractor). Heartland came back and redid the job perfectly, and we’re happy with the work, still. The floor gets tons of compliments and we’ve had no issues with it. The job they did recently was *breathtaking*. We had ugly old oak floors that were yellowed, with lots of scratches and damage. We asked Heartland to refinish it *and* stain it a different color. The work was flawless – the floor is smooth, all the holes/worn spots were filled in, and the stain looks *amazing*. These guys really know what they’re doing.
